Three albums later and with two no. 1 alternative chart hits (Billboard) he returned to producing, arranging, programming or remixing with artists Paul Rogers, Diesel Park West, Debbie Harry, Teenage Fan Club, Pete Townshend, Barclay James Harvest, Wendy James, Deacon Blue, Frank Black, Johnny Hallyday, Michael Bolton and producing and arranging records for the London Symphony Orchestra and The London Philharmonic.
Since 1996 Jon has concentrated on mastering work. Specialising in remastering he has delivered a complete Who (remix/remaster) collection, remasters of Them, John Mayall, Roger Daltrey, Graham Bond and Led Zeppelin for which he has won an award.
He has also remastered George Harrison’s solo records, all 8 Abba CDs, the 3 Tears for Fears records, the 10 Level 42 CDs and also 13 Judas Priest records as well as working with contemporary acts Republica, and Tori Amos.
More recently Jon has mastered Chris Rea’s 11 CD collection "Blue Guitar", a 5 CD Box-set for Tori Amos, and a re-mastering of the entire 12 CD Pete Townshend solo catalogue.
His re-mastering work continues with the 6 Boomtown Rats CDs, a Keith Moon double CD and old albums by Billy Squier, Plasmatics, John Waite, Lita Ford, Johnny Van Zant and Ted Nugent.
He has also mastered projects for New Model Army, John Mayall, a live Dio DVD, Damien Dempsey, John Spillane, The Go-Betweens, a Who live DVD of Tommy and Quadrophenia performances the new record for Level 42 "Retroglide"
Julie Feeney’s record "13 Songs" that he also mastered, was voted best CD in Ireland this year.
